Decision that 1. Detention Orders issued prior to the promulgation of the R&D Ordinance 1944 ( III of 1944 ) which have remained unserved owing to the persons having absconded have expired on 15.7.44 unless they were extend before that date.but 2. That orders declaring such persons absconders however remain in force if they were made before the expiry of the detention orders and that absconders can therefore be proscuted.case of Mrs. Asaf Ali and Achut Patwardhan .
