Instructions issued by the Government of the North-Western Provinces and Oudh regarding the grant of Exchange Compensation Allowance, approved. All Local Governments and Administrations informed that the allowances are chargeable to the same head as pay, and will be Imperial or Provincial to the same extent as pay, but no adjustment will be made from Imperial to Provincial to cover the Provicial share of the expenditure.
