Reference regarding cancellation or amendmentj of approved panels fo staff considered fit for promotiohn to selection posts - Matter considered further on case No. E 55 PM2-53 of which instuctions werte issued to Railways on 21-5-56 to the effect that while in the case of persons who officiated in a higher post was found unsatsfactory and reverted or reverted as a measure of penalty and not for want of a vacancy the removgal of the name form the panll should be autimatc inthe case of persens who, before ptomotion, has deteriorated inthe post he holds deletion of his name from the panel will be an amendment of the panel and the approval of the authority next above the one which approved of the panel would be necessary.
