Letter from the President and Council of Bombay, stating that the shroffs at Bombay and Surat are not willing to advance money on certificates, requesting the Board to discharge the bills of exchange to be drawn by the Chief and Council at Surat in their favour and intimating that they have entered into engagements for making a remittance to Canton, in order to enable the Supercargoes there to send home the Duke of Moutrose and the Northumberland with prpoer cargoes.
