Draft of a letter to the President and Council of Bombay, intimating that the Southampton has been despatched to them for repairs with a cargo of rice, saltpetre and powder, requesting a particular statement stores delivered by them for the euse of the Snow Indus, directing them to order the Paymaster of the Bengal detachment to send in his accounts without delay and to forward them as soon as received, enclosing certain bills of exchange drawn in their favour for the military expenditure of the Bengal detachment also a copy of a letter with enclosures from the Agent for supplies, respecting the degficiency in a cargo of supplies landed at Bombay and requesitng them to acknowledge the receipt of the bills of exchange.
