Letter from :Mr. Thomas Gill, intimating that his ship lortune laden with the Company rice bound for Bombay was forced to put in at Pegu and again at Madras o account of bad weather , and tht at the latter place the Government allowed part of the cargo to be landed and then revoked the order, and requesting tha the Government of Madras may be asked to receive the remainder of the rice.
