Letter from Mr. John Stormouth shewing that his resignation in 1766 on account of ill-health was mistakenly attributed to the same cause which prompted a general resignation of the Military officers in 1766 and that he lost fiver years of service going to and from England trying to set matters right and obtain read mission into the service and that he was finally taken back with loss of rank and asking the Board to restore him to his full rank in the service.
