To Governor - With reference to his letter of 23rd July last forwarding Registers of Contingent charges for Singapore from November 1831 to February 1832 and for Malacca from January to Aprill 1832. Transmits copy of a Report from the Civil Auditor relative to the items of excess therein alluded to. Desired to submit a special Schedule for each of the three Dependencies of Penang Malacca and Singaporeof all disbursement which are definitely considered to form part of the sums fixed by Government on the same account. Also whenever any excess occurs beyond the maximum so prescribed in any one year , thesame to be defrayed out of the allowance of every ensuing year.
