Messrs Mackey and Company - Intimate their intention of establishing a monthly communication by Steam between Calcutta and the Straits and solicit the Government of India to patronize the project by either sanctioning a contract for carrying the Mail or granting the privilege of Making up a Mail at their own Office Charging Steam postage on all letters received by them.
