To Secretary to the Governor General - In reply. The Post Master General will be called upon for an explanation of the cases alluded to in His Lordships Minute. Adverts to that part of the present order which authorizes a duration from one of the Post Office Regulations. The Vice President in Council concludes it is the intention of the Governor General that the old Rule requiring the Words Private Service to be written on the direction of the letter, should be rescinded.
