Resolution - The Governor General in Council adverting to the Letter from Mr. I. Winter recorded on the Proceedings of the 11th. Instant Vide Individuals 1 from which it appears that the Collector of Bhaugulpore continued to pay Interest on two Government # belonging to Mr. Winter after the period when the Interest should have crased. under an Advertisement published by the Authority of Government in the Calcutta Gazette Ordered that the Collector be called upon to explain how this irregularity took place and that he be informed at the same time that as the payment was unauthorized he will be held reaponsible for having mad it unless he can give a satisfactory explanation of the circumstances.
