From - In reply to Endrosement dated 27th Ultimo abserves that the orders respecting the allowance of Mr. Meries late under secretary bengal Government & at present Superintendent services have been based in a misconception of the caurse follwed on received of Hence letter dated 6th June /56 as the additional allowances of 250 from the Junior services salary was never made to him he having drawn from the time of transfer only Rs. 1000 a Memothe salary of a Superintendent of Survey.
