From - With reference to the letter from the Bombay Government of the 17th Novmber 1855 states that the G. G. in C. is of opinion that the Rules in forcce for ensuring regularity and for the prevention of frands in the payment of Pensions are for the most part unobjectionable but that some of them however admit of improvement and insturction are accoudingly laid down for their amendment. Requests also further information regarding the 3rd Class of pensions paid inthe several Villages by deduction from the Government revenue.
