Henwood Esquire - With refernece to his appointment by the Honble Court to survey the Mineral Districts of Kumaon & Gurhwal desires him to proceed forth with to Almorah taking with him Messers Barratt Gray & Davies who will consider themselves subject to his order. Communicates general instruction as to the Course he should follow on arrival at Almorah, informs him of the assistance and advice he will receive there and defines the duties upon which Mr. Davies should be employed. Requests to be furnished with monthly progress Reports.
