Director General Post Office - In reply to letter dated 4th April last regarding the system to be adopted for the adjustment of the British Postage Chargeable on official Correspondence in India proposes to submti monthly Bills to the different departments and local Governments shewing the Postage due on official letters received and despatches by the Mail Packets Her Majestys Governments being credited and the Department and Governments being debited with the Amount.
