From Secy- with ref. to Reslution dt. 15 Dec. 1856 prohibit the pratice of passing Assistance under the 1 or 2 standerad subject to re-exmation of any point on which they may be found deficiment - fords copy of a letter of 21st ultm from the Commr. of Bahaglpore together with one from Mr. H. B. Janson respecting the bussines to which he had been subject by the operation of the about order as the district examination council have reissued to pass him inconsequnce of his defency in one only out of the subject of examination.The Lt. Gover. cncors in the opinion of the Commr. that some relaxtion of the rule is advisable to meet such cases.
