From - Upon a reference from the Civil Audito determines that the rule which limits the authority of hte local Government to sanction an outlay of 25,000 Rs. only in cases of Public Works such as grants of land for public objects the purchaseor building of Ships and thelike shall apply to cases involving payments to satisfy mortgages on estates that have now hebecome the property of Government and that there payments shall be approved by the Government of India before being passed.
