With reference to Financial Resolution, No. 1282, dated 30th June, submits, for consideration, whether fees for the registration of immovable porperty in the North-Western Provinces should not be increased; for indirect expenses and probable indirect loss of Stamp Revenue from the working of the Registration Act seem to render it desirable that there should be as large a surplus from the Registration Act as may be derivable from a moderate scale of fees.
