In reply to Military Deptt. docket, No. 148, of 13th Instant, states that , on reconsideration of the Original & present Rules regarding Native family Pension, he would recommend admission of the claims which the individuals, marginally noted within, have preferred as the real, though not the registered, next of Kin of certain deceased Sepoys of the 67th N.I. & would suggest further, the expediency of publishing in a G.O. the decision of Govt. on the point raise by the present corrspondence, vizt. whether in the absence of a special nomination the family pension devalves. 1st on the real next of Kin though not registered by name or otherwise in the Kindred Roll.
