In reply to mily Department no 789 of the 22nd Ultimo intimates with refrence to the desire of the Bombay Govt that whenn the number of absentees from the 72nd Bengal Native Infantry may be retried belkow the regulated maximum the service of Lt. Armstrong of that Corps may be placed at the disposal of the C.in Chief Bombay for the appointment to His Excellency personal staff.
