In reply to No. 864 of 30th ultimo, regarding the revision of the Pension Establishment of his Deptt. proposed in the Finl. Deptt. submits for consideration that it would cause a further saving of Rs. 22-8-0 if the late Establishment of Moonshees were allowed to remain as before, permitting him to engage 4 additional moonshees for the offices having moonshees for the offices having none at all attached to them at present, as shewn in the subjoined comparative scale and explains the grounds which render obvious the advantages of his proposal.
