Forwards for information transcript of an extt. from a letter from the Secretary Foreing Deptt to the chief Commissioner Oude dated 4th feby. 1856 authorizing according to a scale laid down, the grant of pensions & gratuities to the Civil & Military Establishment of hte late Oude General, who are whally in ifficient or for whom suitable employemtn cannot be obtained provided the parties be in other respects desiring of consideratin & favor.
