Ideas to make the Provident Fund Accounts better. i) Note sent by Shri K.M. Swarup, RAO, of Lucknow in response to information provided by the FA and AO, N.E.Rly. ii) The SE Railway's suggestions for enhancing the Provident Fund Accounts. Decision: i) The PF account may be transferred to the Account Officer of the Railway or officer to whom the subscriber has been temporarily transferred in cases of temporary transfers when the length of transfer is likely to exceed one year. In such circumstances, the contributions would be restricted to 1/24th rather than 1/8th of the employee's emoluments. ii) The railway on which the employees holds lien will prepare the settlement/pension papers in regard to personnel who retire or proceed on LPR from projects
