Representation from the Clerks Association of the Government of India Press, New Delhi, requesting that (i) all clerks with more than five years of service be classified as B Grade clerks with retrospective effect (ii) the Assistants and Cashier be classified as A Grade clerks with retrospective effect (iii), (iv) there be no layoffs, and (v) no outsiders be permitted to be promoted to any higher clerical posts already existing or to be created in the-rejected. Grant of special pay of Rs. 20 and Rs. 16 per hour to upper division clerks working in the Stationery and Printing Department's presses and branches as supervisors, respectively
