In reply to No. 469, dated 18th June, on the subject of elephant kheddas in the Belsapore district of the Central Provinces, forwards copies of two letters from the Officiating Conservator of Forests, Central Provinces. The Chief Commissioner thinks that an experiment for two season might be tried, and if the scheme is approved of, he would suggest that an officer experienced in the Kheddda system be deputed to visit the country in the ensuing cold season
