Central Railway:- C and W Depot at Wadala- staff treated as continuous under HER filled application before the payment of Wages Authority for payment of Overtime under the Factories Act- The authority up held the case in favour of the employees on the ground that C & W depots unlike loco running sheds, come within preview of the Factories Act, and Staffs entitled to overtime in accordance with that Act. (2) Board contained that running sheds included C and W depots sick line, sick siding and that staff of C and W depots are not entitled to any overtime under Factories Act. (3) Railways advised to file appeal in the High Court against the judgement of the payment of Wages Authority. They were advised to seed advice from the Branch Section at the Ministry of Law at Bombay (4) Bombay High Court Judgement- that the Wadala workshop and or yards are railway running sheds with in measuring of that phrase in Section 2(m) of the Factories Act- Rejections Orders passed on the application of the respondent for payment of overtime under Factories Act
