Decisions regarding grant of overtime to Running shed staff on Railways at one and half times the hourly rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of 48 hours being reckoned without averaging - Orders issued to Railways in consultation with NFIR. Decision that in respect of hours of work and payment of overtime, the staff employed in carriage and wagon depots and sick sidings to the exclusion of train examining arrangements whether passenger or goods and staff in washing sidings whose work is of continuous nature and who are not governed by the Factories Act, 1948 should be treated on a par with Ldco running staff and the Board's orders mentioned above would apply to them. The actual implementation of these orders would be done in consultation with the Accounts Department
