(1) Separation of security and vigilance work and entrusting the same to two officers viz Inspector General, By Protection Force and OSD (Vigilance). (2) Creation of a permanent post of Inspector-General, By Protection Force with effect from 16.6.59. (3) Shri. S. Parthasarathy OSD (Vigilance) appointed as IG/RPF ref. 26.7.57 AN also decided that he was function as ex officio, Director, Railway Board with the abbreviated designation D(S and V) his the new PPF in the position. (4) Extension of the posts of OSD(V), DD(INV), DIG/RPF and DD(Veg) upto 30.6.58 and 30.6.59 and 30.6.60. (5) Extension of the post of AD(INU) upto 25-1-60. (6) Extension of the posts DD (Investigation), D.D. Vigilance and DIG/RBF upto 30.6.1961
