(1) Dividing security and vigilance duties and assigning them to the Inspector General, Protection Force, and OSD (Vigilance) officers. (2) Effective 16.6.59, Protection Force established a permanent position of Inspector-General. (3) It was also decided that Shri. S. Parthasarathy OSD (Vigilance), who had been appointed as IG/RPF ref. 26.7.57 AN, would serve as the new PPF in the role and act as an ex officio director of the Railway Board, with the abbreviated designation D(S and V). (4) Posts of OSD(V), DD(INV), DIG/RPF, and DD(Veg) will be extended till 30.6.58, 30.6.59, and 30.6.60. (5) AD (INU) position extended to 25-1-60. (6) Extension of the positions of D.D. Vigilance, DIG/RBF, and DD (Investigation) until 30.6.1961
