Western Railway. Irregular payment in overtime allowance, under the Factories Act, to the Workshop staff of the ex-Saurashtra Railway for the period 1948 to 1953, due to incorrect calculation of overtime. 1. Decision that the G.M. Western, Railway should authorise and the payment of arrears of a pay under C.P.C Scales due to the employees of the ex-Saurashtra Railway which were withhold on account of the irregular payments of overtime to workshop staff. 2. Decision that the irregular payment of overtime already made to workshop staff of the five workshops in the former Gondal Region (Bhavnagar and Rajkot Divisions) during the periods from 28.5.48 to 31.12.53 need not be reviewed by the G.M., Western Railway. Necessary sanction accorded. 3. The Position in regard to the over payment and underpayment occurred in five workshops of the ex-Saurashtra Railway was fully explained to A.D.A.I, (Railways) who was requested to treat this cases as closed
