Regarding enforcement of the payment of wages act and the the rules in Railway Contractors Establishment employing less than 20 persons-Proposal to amend Rule 1(2) of the payment of Wages(Railways) Rules, 1938. Proposal not agreed to. The Labour Ministry were informed that there were a number of petty handling contractors after vending contractors employing a very small number of vendors on Railway and it would not be practicable for them to comply with the provisions of the Rules
