Railway Board decided that:- (1) Instructions on acceptance of commercial employment should be made applicable in respect of gazetted officers of the concerned departments who seek voluntary retirement or resign on grounds of private family circumstances. (2) employment in work of maintaining liaison or contact with Government agencies cannot be described as employment of a thoroughly reputable kind and, as such, requests for permission to take up post retirement commercial employment involving such work, should not be acceded to. (3) Present practice of acceptance of commercial employment should be more vigorously followed, especially in the case of senior officer. (4) Case of all Class I Railway officer and of special categories of Class II Railway officers covered by the instructions contained in Board's letter No. E(G)56EM1/13/3 dated 31.1.1959 as clarified in their letter No. E(G)60EM6-5 dated 15-2-1961 should benceforth be sent to Board of orders
