Ministry of Home Affairs- Punctuality in Government Offices- Grant of Half a day's Casual Leave. (1) Instructions issued to Railways to enforce punctuality in Government Offices and (2) To grant 1/2 a day's C.L. for forenoon or afternoon when required. Also clarified that- (a) whether the grace period of 10 minutes still permissible. (b) whether the Muslim employees will continue to be granted leave of absence of the period of one hour on Fridays to enable them to attend Jumma Prayers provided that the time so spent is made up, if necessary, outside the office hours, on the same or other days of the week
