Minimum Wages Committee (Construction): This committee's recommendation, which will go into effect on 1.4.69, addresses minimum wage rates and the standards by which they should be set for planned employment under the Central Government. The Ministry of Labour decided to implement the Railway Board's decision to enforce wef 1.4.69. The draft notification was approved based on the committee's recommendations for revising the current minimum wage rated in scheduled employments and for fixing rates in areas or categories of labour. On 28.5.69, the minimum wage approved by the Board and notified by the Central Government in their Notification Nos. 1917 and 1913 of 19.5.69 was circulated to railways
