With reference to a letter of the 20th Ultimo, calling for a report on the advantages or otherwise of excluding Velvet or other being from Surgical Intrument cases, submit copy of one from the Apothecary to the Honble Company, intimating that he is unable to furnish any report on the subject as yet, on the grouds set Forth & Exressing regret that the court have come to the determinatin to send no more unlined cases to this country, until a report is received of the effeect of the Alteration.
