With refrence, to mily Department letter no 731 of the 23rd December last, submits, copy of one from the Joint Dy commissary General reporting that the Executive, officer at lahore, had, previous to receipt of prohilution from the Joint dy commissary general office an intimation from the major of Brigade at lahore, that the statement shewing the expense of the moveable column, was required, immediated, for the Commander in Chief furnished, the statement to that effect called for by BrigadeTennatn and suggesting that some rule be promulgated defiming the authoirity on which fixied statement of expenditure, may or ought, to be furnished, by commissariat officer.
