In reply to a letter of the 6th Instt. intimates that the Civil Auditor reports that the Rule suggested by the Military Auditor General relative to the submission of charges subject to adjustment in the Military Deptt. has long been observed in his office, but that the particular case referred to, perhaps application some accidental omission by the office in the North Western Provinces.
