Transmitting copy despatch from the Mily Board no 2238 dt 10th instant relative to the injury sustained by certain public buildings at Dimapore on the ocasion of the fire which destroyed the Native Infantry lines in that statioin in Aprilk last requestsing the Commandar in chief attentioin may be drawn to the unsatisfactory manner in which the proceedings of the court of inquity held on the occasion his excellency also observe that the court have a altogether last sight of the direction contained in the Govr. Genls address of the 30th september 1820 no 87 of 1845 .
