Proposal that officers whose pay does not exceed Rs. 25 a month should be granted maintenance allowance for the period they are under treatment at a Pasteur Institute, at the daily rates admissible to officers of the third and fourth class under article 1063 of the Civil Service Regulations as a grant and not as an advance, and that officers whose pay exceeds Rs.25 but does not exceed Rs.500 a month should be given an advance for maintenance, the advance being treated as an advance recoverable.
