In reply to No. 247, dated 21st April last communicates the remarks of the Governor General in council on the defective report which he has submitted, and directs him to call upon the Political Officers for information if the records of his Office cannot supply what is required. Desires him to supply, as early as possible, the further information wanted.

The National Archives of India is on a mission to digitize and make available online each and every record in its repositories. This is an ongoing effort and some records will be made available before the others.
