From Officiating Secretary to the Asiatic Society - With reference to the allowance of 200 Rs. per month sanctioned for an Establishment to keep up the Museum and Lihrary of the Society, and to the autharty given by the Honble Court in their Letter dated 18th September 1839 for an outlay of 300 Rs. a Month for a Superintendant etc requests to know if the aboue sums are to be considered as two separte grantes, and should any doubt be entertained, that a reference he made to the Court.
