To Secretary Bengal - Acknowledge foregoing relative to the position of the late Board of Ed. with reference to the funds at their disposal belonging to the Elphinstone College states that the G. G. in C. has no objection to the Tructes being called the Transtees of the Elphinston funds and to leave to them the ofthe Minor funds connected with the Inst. This Government near inteaded to dispassess the Tructees of the funds under their charge it morely songht to make the proper administration of that funds and of the rest of the income of the Government # # #
