From - In reply to an enquiry made by the Chief Commissioner of the Punjab thro the Foreign Department with reference to Sec. VI of the Uncod. Service Leave Rules as to whether Privilege leave can be taken in broken periods of less tan one month within the year and as to the minimum period that should internence between the leave taken in one year and the leave tobe granted in the following year. States that as neither of these Points are provided for in the existing rules the provisions made for the Covenanted Service as published in the Calcutta gazette of the 14th May are to be applied to the Uncood. Service.
