Officiating Secretary - Forwards copy of a letter from Mr. W. S. Raterson late Magistrate and Collector of Goruckpore at present unemployed from the mere circumstance of his having been accidentally overlooked by the Government when the appointment of Magistrate and Collector of # was conferred upon Mr. Sreeling which appointment was intended for him and recommends that Mr. Paterson be permitted to draw the full salary as Magistrate and Collector from the date of his arrival at Head Quaters on the understanding that the earliest apportunity will be taken of bringing him on the strength of the Establishment.
