With refrence to the commissariat officer at Darjeeling having requestly represented the difficulty he has to contend with the preparations of Good Bread Rations for the convalescents at that sanatarium for want of fresh the gyeast used in this Country as the juice of the plam which is procured from the plams before it reaches Darjeeling a rrives a state of fermentation that the bread is deemed more injuries them other wise when this article has been largely used in preparation .
