Writ petition No. 531 of 1961 in Mysore High Court filed by Shri S. Raghavendrachar, TXR, S. Rly. against the orders of his reversion from higher officiating appointment to lower substantive post for unsatisfactory work- Mysore High Court quashed the order of reversion on the ground that it amounted to imposition of the penalty of reduction in rank for the reason that the petitioner was reverted in the higher posts- Question whether an appeal should be filed in Supreme Court.- Decided in consultation will the Ministry of Law and the solicitor General to file special Lower position in the Supreme Court. This was done and the case was decided in favour of the Rly. Administration
