Coastal Railway. S.A. Bakeem, ex. PWI-vs-DEN/II/Hubli, filed Writ Petition No. 156 of 61 in the High Court of Mysore at Bangalore. The Railway wants to appeal to the Supreme Court about whether a person who was appointed in a lower grade can be fired while working in a higher grade, even though that authority may not have the authority to appoint people to that higher grade, without violating the Constitution's provisions of Article 331(1). The Ministry of Law was consulted on the aforementioned matter, and the decision was made in the negative. As a result, no appeal to the Supreme Court was filed. Instructions were given that the 'Appointing Authority' shall be chosen based on Rules 1702(i)- R.I. and 1705- R.I., whichever is the highest authority
