Rules and Regulations. Reference from the General Manager, North Eastern Railway, whether it is necessary that the authority competent to pass an order of removal from service, should pass the orders of compulsory retirement of railway servants whose service are not required on account of his failure to pass the requisite standard physical fitness. Decision that the orders of compulsory retirement on medical unfitness should be passed by the authority competent to order the dismissal of removal of the employee concerned viz. the General Manager in the case of ex-Company staff
