Cabinets suggestion that many of the ig houses in hill stations, which were now lying unused and probably, deteriorating could be usefully turned into Children's Holiday Homes -Action taken on. The Railways asked that the possibility of setting up Holiday Homes for staff in many of the big houses in hill stations lying unused due to lack of patrenage may be explored. Further, decision that there is no objection to a Railway having a Holiday Home for its staff at a place outside its jurisdiction but the Holiday Home will be in the charge of the Railway that serves the area
