Staff councils and Committees-Staff Council-Reference from the NFIR that the area staff councils should be abolished 1. Matter considered but decided not to abolish the staff council 2. In Pursuance of Cabinet Committees decision confidential instructions issued to the Rlys to set up staff council at as many places as required and to mad them live and funcitioning bodies. 3. NFIR again urged that the original decision to abolish staff councils should be pressed upon Government Board explained that there was nothing for them to do at this stage. If however, the Federation could send a detailed memorandum it could be examine It was further pointed out that case is being exercised to that the staff councils did not unnecessarily encroach upon the sphere of Trade Unions. The Federation could bring to Board notice instances of overlop, if any
